First off, I really appreciate the transparency and effort you’re putting into improving the platform. The changes you’ve implemented so far are solid steps toward making SWAPD a more secure and high-quality marketplace.
I wanted to share a few suggestions that could further enhance the platform while keeping things efficient and user-friendly:
1. New Verified Seller Tiers & Badges
- Many users buy from specific sellers they trust, but there’s no clear distinction between an experienced (There are some ranks, but some times that doesnt tells you nothing about the seller) and a random ranked one.
- Introducing verified seller tiers based on successful transactions, positive feedback, and longevity on SWAPD could help buyers navigate toward trusted sellers.
- Example: “Trusted Seller” badge for 10+ completed deals with positive feedback, “Elite Seller” for 50+, “VIP Seller” for 100+ (just an example framework).
2. AI-Detection & Human Review for Listings
- Since you’re cracking down on low-quality and AI-generated listings, you could implement AI-detection tools that flag posts that appear too generic or heavily AI-written.
- Then, have a human review team (or even community-based reports) validate whether they should be approved or rejected.
3. Exclusive Invite-Only Marketplace for High-Value Assets
- SWAPD has a lot of premium deals, but mixing them with low-tier listings can reduce the exclusivity factor.
- Creating an invite-only “SWAPD Elite” section for high-value assets (e.g., 5-figure+ deals) could attract serious buyers/sellers while keeping lower-end deals in the general marketplace.
4. SWAPD Merch Store (No Risk, No Investment Needed!)
- I’ve already mentioned this before, but I strongly believe a print-on-demand SWAPD merch store could be an easy way to generate revenue with zero upfront costs.
- No stock needed, customers pay first, and items are automatically produced & shipped globally.

1. User with two ratios: seller + buyer
Reviews often have 5 stars but don’t say much.
It would help everyone if each user has two ratios: seller + buyer
Example
< @username > ratio
Seller: 92% | Buyer: 100%
Seller ratio calculation
(Delivered sales tickets - Buyer cancelled tickets) / ( Total sales tickets - Buyer cancelled tickets)
Buyers will look for higher delivery rate sellers.
Sellers will only offer tickets they are sure they accomplish, keeping their good rating. It also saves Swapd time by not having “tests” tickets that are later cancelled.
Buyer ratio calculation
(Total buyer tickets - Buyer cancelled tickets - Seller cancelled tickets) / ( Total buyer tickets - Seller cancelled tickets)
Sellers will look for reputable buyers that do not cancel tickets, avoiding problematic buyers.
Buyer will avoid starting tickets just to sniff around, cancelling later.

2. IDs disclosure
For tickets over a certain amount. It could have an option that both sides may agree, if ticket becomes problematic real names are shared.
At this moment, the problem is that the victim in the ticket cannot get the real name of the person who committed fraud to take legal actions in courts. And the person committing fraud is hiding their identity by using Swapd as a mask.

You should take the ability to privately message others from people with the lowest trust level as I get spammy messages & time wasters daily (make them ID verify themselves first & maybe pass an english exam? cuz 10’s of them dm me saying some random things like “whats up ban you?”)

What about accepting messages from only ID verified people or restricting countries from viewing my topics? Is that an option?
Can you also make a rule to enforce some sort of penalty for false advertising on SWAPD? It feels like more than half of sellers on here say just about anything to get users to click on their listing and once you actually begin talking to them, they completely change the price and TAT. They’ll say in their listing 24-72 hours or 3-10 days and then all of a sudden, when it’s time to open a ticket, it becomes 7 days or 15 days.
Same issue occurs with pricing as well where they claim to be the “cheapest on-site” or give a range of $2k-$5k and then all of a sudden, the price becomes $10k. Sometimes, they’ll claim to have a flat price and then not honor the listed price. Or worst of all, the dudes who give you a price range in their listing only to then ask “what’s your budget?” when you reach out to them to buy.
I feel like SWAPD can really take some notes from BHW in this regard as they have a much tighter leash on the degree to which a seller can engage in false advertising and waste the buyer’s time. It’s counterproductive to commerce and makes things so much more difficult when you are constantly having to wait to get a response from each seller just to figure out that they’re not the person for the task.
