Understanding the Grace Period

When you purchase properties or services on SWAPD, a mandatory 24-hour grace period applies after the transfer or service is confirmed complete. This also applies to mentorship tickets, which have a 7-day grace period.

The purpose of the grace period is to allow time for verification and to ensure the subcontractor’s delivery matches the Checkout Ticket terms. During this period, SWAPD (operated by VEYYO Limited Partnership, Canada, as Merchant of Record) retains custody of the funds and does not authorize payout until the grace period ends (or is validly waived).

Rules and Recommendations During the Grace Period

  • No Significant Alterations – Buyers must not materially change the property (e.g., name changes, bio edits, deleting content, or uploading harmful material). Doing so may disqualify the Buyer from raising issues or requesting a refund.
  • Testing – Buyers may make limited test posts or activities (if applicable) to assess functionality or engagement.
  • Verification – Buyers should confirm statistics and attributes match those presented in the subcontractor’s listing.
  • Timeframe – Buyers have 24 hours (or 7 days for mentorship tickets) to report issues. If no issues are reported within this period, SWAPD will authorize payout to the subcontractor.
  • All Services Covered – Every service offered on SWAPD is subject to the grace period.
  • Waiver Option – Buyers may request to waive the grace period, but doing so forfeits any future claims or staff support. SWAPD may decline disputes where the grace period was waived.
  • Extension Clause – SWAPD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to extend the grace period if fraud review, compliance checks, or other risk considerations require more time.

Grace Period Exceptions

  • YouTube Channels – These require a 7-day verification process during which the Buyer is included in channel permissions before final transfer. The standard 24-hour grace period does not apply.
  • Mentorship Tickets – These automatically have a 7-day grace period instead of 24 hours.
