Verification Requirements

Buyers: You can purchase items up to $1,000 USD without ID verification. Transactions exceeding this amount require ID verification.

Subcontractors: All subcontractors must complete ID verification, regardless of transaction amount to sell items/services on SWAPD.

AML Compliance: In addition to ID verification, user data is cross-checked against global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) databases. SWAPD reserves the right to deny service to any member flagged by these databases to maintain platform integrity.
Special Note for Users from Certain Countries
Users from the following countries will receive a Safety Concern badge upon verification due to heightened compliance requirements:
- Pakistan
- Albania
- Kosovo
- North Macedonia
- Serbia
- Colombia
- Nigeria
- Niger
- Somalia
- Kenya
- Morocco
- Turkey
- Egypt
This badge is a precautionary measure and does not impact your ability to use the platform. Once you reach $1,000 USD in combined sales or purchases, you may apply to have the badge removed by contacting Administrators.
