1. How Our Fees Work
SWAPD operates as a digital marketplace and acts as the Merchant of Record (“MoR”) for all transactions processed directly through the platform. This means buyers purchase from VEYYO Limited Partnership (Ontario, Canada), which collects payment, deducts SWAPD’s platform fee, and then arranges fulfillment by independent sellers (“subcontractors”).
- Platform Fee: Ranges between 2% and 11%, depending on the size of the transaction, member status, and payment method.
 - Refund Fee: All refunds incur a 1% processing fee, deducted from the refund amount. This covers admin, banking, and blockchain costs.
 - Dispute Fee: If SWAPD staff are required to intervene in a dispute, a 5% dispute resolution fee is charged to the responsible party (or split if shared fault).

You can calculate your expected fee using our fee calculator.
2. Who Pays What
- Buyers: Pay the full agreed purchase price to SWAPD (MoR) or via Trustap (see Section 4).
 - Sellers: Act as independent contractors and are paid by SWAPD after platform fees are deducted. Sellers may be required to invoice VEYYO LP directly depending on local tax laws.
 - Responsibility for Extra Charges: Sellers are solely responsible for all third-party costs such as crypto network fees, card processor fees, or Trustap charges. Sellers may not pass these costs to buyers.

3. Payment Methods
SWAPD supports the following payment methods:
- Cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, SOL, USDT, USDC – ERC20/TRC20 supported).

- Lowest-cost option.
 - No platform-imposed upper limits.
 - Network fees are non-refundable.

- Credit Cards

- Available to eligible users.
 - Transaction limits may vary depending on account status, risk checks, and compliance rules.

- Trustap Payments

- SWAPD has integrated Trustap as an alternative transaction processor.
 - Important: Transactions conducted through Trustap are handled solely by Trustap, not SWAPD or VEYYO LP.
 - SWAPD/VEYYO LP has no access to or control over funds processed by Trustap.
 - SWAPD/VEYYO LP cannot issue invoices for Trustap transactions. Invoices and compliance obligations fall under Trustap’s Terms of Service.
 - Users conducting Trustap transactions must comply with Trustap’s own policies and procedures.

4. Payment Consistency
For compliance and accounting purposes, the method chosen at the start of a transaction must be used throughout.
- Example: If a buyer pays with cryptocurrency, the seller will also receive cryptocurrency.
 - Switching payment methods (e.g., crypto in, card out) is not permitted.

5. Refunds & Finality of Sales
- Refunds are discretionary and not guaranteed, except where legally required.
 - A 1% refund processing fee applies to all refunds, regardless of fault.
 - Refunds are not available for completed, delivered, or consumed services. Buyers acknowledge that digital services are often non-reversible and sales are treated as final.
 - Chargebacks or unauthorized reversals may result in account suspension and recovery action.

6. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers on SWAPD are legally treated as independent contractors.
- Sellers are not employees, partners, or representatives of SWAPD or VEYYO LP.
 - Sellers contract with VEYYO LP, which then fulfills the buyer’s order.
 - Sellers are solely responsible for:
- Compliance with their own tax laws.
 - Accuracy and legality of services.
 - Issuing invoices to VEYYO LP when required.

 - SWAPD provides the marketplace and payment rails only — it does not warrant, guarantee, or assume responsibility for seller performance.

7. Important Notes for Users
- All platform fees are fixed and non-refundable.
 - All refunds (when granted) are reduced by 1% to cover processing costs.
 - Trustap transactions fall under Trustap’s policies — SWAPD is not a custodian of those funds.
 - Buyers and sellers assume all risks associated with contractor performance.
