SWAPD Checkout Ticket Fees

Here is a quick breakdown of SWAPD’s current fee structure.

  • SWAPD provides middleman (escrow) services for rights to online assets and virtual items/properties. For this service, we charge anywhere from 1-9%. Please use our fee calculator to estimate the exact price for our services. Our fee is deducted from the total agreed price before money transfer fees. This fee is non-negotiable and non-refundable. As a VIP member, your fees will be lower, as stated in your membership agreement. For example, VIP members have a progressive fee structure, ranging from 1-8%.
  • On top of our fee, there will be additional fees related to moving the money from point A to point B. These fees are covered by sellers, with no exceptions. Sellers aren’t allowed to transfer this fee to buyers. The amount of these fees will vary, depending on the payment method, country of buyer/seller, and a few other factors.
  • Changing payment merchant payouts isn’t allowed. This means that if the agreed transaction is conducted via bank wire, the buyer/seller has to accept a bank wire. You cannot cross-exchange payments from crypto to bank wire, for example.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the cheapest form of payment on SWAPD?

Here are the four payment methods we currently accept, from the most expensive to the cheapest. We invite sellers to use our fee calculator to estimate the total they will receive after a successful sale.

#1 Bank Wire
Bank wire payments are great for transactions of 1000 USD and up. This is because international bank wires can get costly, running anywhere between 15-45 USD per wire. On average, a wire fee is 25 USD one way. However, please remember that once the money reaches your bank account, your banking institution will deduct another fee on your end. Since every bank has different rates, we cannot factor in these costs. The good thing about bank wires is that the fees stay virtually the same, whether the wire is for 1000 USD or 30000 USD, making them cost-effective for larger transactions.

#2 Cryptocurrencies - BTC, USDT, and ETH (Cheapest)
BTC, commonly known as BitCoin, is the most known and recognized cryptocurrency in the world. BTC is a virtual currency that holds real (fiat money) value. You can buy/sell BitCoin into any currency you wish by using one of the countless BTC exchange websites. The same applies to USDT (currently the cheapest to transfer) and Ethereum, which SWAPD also accepts. Cryptocurrencies are the cheapest form of moving money on SWAPD, and we highly recommend them. However, there is also a negative side to cryptocurrencies. For example, the value of BTC is very unsteady, and it is not uncommon to see the exchange rates jump up and down up to 200-300% per day. SWAPD will not be responsible for any losses and only pays out in BTC and not in the value of the current exchange rates.

How long does a Bank Wire take?

Usually within 1-3 business days. In rare cases, it takes 4-6 days. The transit time depends on your bank policies, country of residence, upcoming holidays, etc.

What are your current methods of payment?

We currently accept Bank Wire, and selected cryptocurrencies (BTC/ETH/USDT).

If a buyer pays with crypto, can I get a Bank Wire?

No. Cross-merchant payouts aren’t allowed. Our company accounts run in our native currency, PLN. When our company gets paid in USD, we have to convert the payment into PLN, only to exchange it into USD again to send it, thus losing money due to unfavorable exchange rates.

Does SWAPD accept Payoneer?

No. Our company does not currently accept this merchant.
